Once you have decided to hire professional documentation services, the next step is to choose a package that suits your holiday plans. Do not focus solely on the number of services included. Consider how you want to use your travel documentation after the trip is over. If you mainly want to preserve your memories through photos, a photography service may be the right choice. Photos can be used for personal albums, family documentation, or your travel collection.

However, if you want to capture the atmosphere of a sailing trip in a more dynamic way, consider videography services. Videos allow you to document the movement of the boat, activities at different destinations, and interactions throughout the journey. Meanwhile, a photo and video package may be worth considering if you want to preserve your travel memories in several formats at once.

Before booking, consider the following factors:

- Portfolio: Review examples of the provider’s photos and videos to understand their documentation style.

- Service coverage: Make sure the duration and activities included in the package match your itinerary.

- Final deliverables: Ask how many edited photos are included, what video formats are available, and whether raw files can be provided if needed.

- Turnaround time: Confirm the estimated time required to deliver your completed photos and videos.

- Additional costs: Check whether any extra charges may apply and clarify the service terms before making a booking.

If certain moments are particularly important to you, communicate your priorities in advance. This allows you and the documentation team to agree on realistic expectations for your trip.
